On Sunday, November 19th, WOWTV senior Samantha Townley, along with juniors Kyle Mansuy and Josh Neveras had the opportunity to be part of the first Student Intern for a Day program with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The students heard from a panel of front office staff who shared the ins and outs of working in the sports industry, had pregame access to TIAA Bank Stadium, and got to watch the Jaguars face their division rivals the Tennessee Titans.
“This experience was very beneficial and fun,” Samantha Townley said. “It was fascinating to hear about the different roles that play a part in running an organization like the Jacksonville Jaguars and a Jags win topped off a great day. I’m thankful to Ms. Stokes and Mrs. Maroth for passing along this opportunity!”
