This year the WOHS cafe has opened its doors and vamped up their coffee game. As of this year, the cafe has implemented a new system: mobile ordering.
The Differences and Similarities since Last Year-
This year the staff is the same, but customer size has increased as they have found themselves making 10-20 orders per period. Last year an average of $200 a day was made, but now they are now making over $300 a day. They have become so popular the line has begun to wrap around the door every morning.
The menu has been updated. Their menu last year had four main options for type of drink: frappe, hot chocolate, latte, and lotus. But the staff has introduced a new drink this year, the cold brew. With these five main options students can create a plethora of customizable drinks.
As of this year, the cafe now has an online ordering system, which you can find in the app store at UR Cafe Axum. This allows students to order ahead of time instead of waiting in line every morning. The app is open up until 2nd period when the cafe closes. Giving students the opportunity to buy drinks that they can pick up between classes.
How and When to Order-
To order online, students may order the night before school up until 2nd period. You may also walk in and order in the cafe until 7:15. After school starts you can not walk in anymore, but you also can order online and make a pick-up time. You only may make these orders until the 2nd period when the cafe closes. When you come in to pick up your online order, it will be found on a little cart when you walk in.
The cafe has made many improvements since it first opened last year. They will continue to grow and perfect their system to be able to reach as many students as possible. Stop by to try the many flavors and support the wonderful West Orange student staff.
