This is just a snippet into a day in the life of Sarah Dawson, 10, who plays the cello in the orchestra. She has been playing for 6 years total. She first joined orchestra in 4th grade, and the first instrument she played was the violin. She went on to play the bass in 6th grade, then the cello in 7th, which she has been playing ever since. She was second chair in her class freshman year, and she hopes to be this year as well.
