A perfect prom theme would be something like a magical garden at night. There could be lots of lights, flowers, and pretty decorations to make it feel special. People could dress up in sparkly or fancy clothes. It would feel like being in a fairytale. The music and dancing would make it a night to remember. Maya Martinez (11)
A perfect prom theme would probably be tangled. I think the decoration would come out so cute and it could be a bunch of lanterns shining light inside since its always dark in the hall. My perfect prom theme would be Mama Mia, because the film and musical itself is so beautiful. For me as next year will be my last year at west orange it shows like a way of change and growing up. The colors of where Mama Mia takes places is beautiful too. It takes place in Greece which I think would be a perfect fit for a prom theme. My perfect prom theme would be a murder mystery Masquerade Ball. It would be fabulous and elegant with elaborate masks that can go from the simplest of designs that cover around the eyes with a simple feather to the most extravagant looks with masks that cover the whole face with wild accents. The murder mystery itself would come with every person being gifted a letter that tells them their role. The roles include the murderer, the detective and an accomplice/red herring, which are all meant to be secret from one another as everyone else is a victim/witness. the night goes on and the way for the murderer to kill is to slip them a card, given to them in their letter, that says ‘You have been killed! Act out your death as dramatically as possible!’ and then they would do so. The first thing done at prom would be to announce the prom king and queen so the game itself could go underway for the rest of the night and then the killer will be revealed at the end. Hollywood monsters prom would be very interesting! It would have to be somewhere other than House of Blues, and the decor would have to be top notch, but I feel like it would be out of the box and fun. It could be held on Universal property and use some of the stuff there. Spencer Pennington (12)
