From her album “East of the Sun…,” my favorite song is “Swedish Girl,” with 766,754 listens on Spotify. Her music is an Alternative + Indie Pop mix with hints of R&B and feels of nostalgia.
Ebril
On the subject of artists who became known by their songs from TikTok, we have Ebril. You
must’ve heard the song “Stranger in you” a few times and if you haven’t you might live under a
rock because this song has a whopping 13,864,438 listens on Spotify. She makes dreamy,
atmospheric music, blending folk and lo-fi together. For an artist with only 1 album which came
out this year and
658,000 monthly listeners, I think her recent popularity is incredible. From her
album “In Copula,” released 2025 January 14th, it’s hard to choose a favorite. I personally really
like “I Want A Home With You,” with 684,537 listens on Spotify because of the nice guitar and the
feeling of homeliness and open arms.
MarQ
MarQ falls under the Indie/Alternative, Bedroom Pop, R&B, and even Trance scenes.
His music is similar to popular artist Malcom Todd who recently became more popular
with his song “Earrings.” MarQ has a nice 651,024 monthly listeners with his most
listened-to song being “Farewell,” with over 13,000,000 streams on Spotify, followed by
“On & Off,” and “Indecisive.” My favorite song from his EP “Hayden’s Demos,” is “Pretty

internet/gen-z culture and anime, resulting in a sound that’s both chaotic and cool at the same
time. His latest album “GAIA,” released November 7th 2025, has his most popular songs such as

listens. My favorite song by re6ce is “ZOMBIE,” because I like the rock/alt feel when you listen to
