Kennedy Hill is a student at WOHS who enjoys playing volleyball and hanging with friends. She played for the girl’s West Orange freshman volleyball team this past season, along with club team at 407. Hill said that she enjoyed working and playing hard while having a great time. “There is always something to improve on.”
Other than volleyball, Hill enjoys many
kinetic activities. If Hill didn’t play volleyball, she would want to go back to competitive dancing. She was a competitive dancer for eight years until she paused to start a new sport that she will continue to play. Dance has still been a part of her life, she’s still taking classes and was also on the JV Warriorettes dance team this past football season. Other hobbies include bedazzling and doing her nails, where she can express her ideas in nail art and crafts.
How does she balance it all? Kennedy says to stay happy and healthy she makes sure to stay hydrated, eat balanced meals, and even exercises on the days she doesn’t have dance/volleyball practice. Academically, Kennedy works hard to achieve her good grades by making sure to do her homework before any other after-school activities. If she can’t finish it before practice, she uses her time wisely even if it means doing it in the car.
