For many students, balancing schoolwork and extracurricular activities can be difficult. Junior athlete Jacob Montes (11) states that it has been a part of his life. As a passionate football player and
student, Montes has a strong work ethic all around.

He shared that his scheduling gets tough sometimes. “Since I have practice nearly every day after school, I sometimes stay up late finishing my homework, ”
Montes revealed.

He tries not to focus on the difficulties and uses the future as a source of motivation. Montes stated his
greatest ambition is to continue playing football at college and possibly at an even higher level. “Football is one of the things I really love, and I see no limit to it, I want to take it as far as I can, ” he expressed.

Besides sports, Montes realizes that school work is important too. He assures himself to stay attentive during the lesson and that he is effective with his
time. Also, it is his fellow players and coaches who additionally help him to stay on track.

Jacob seems to really want to see the results of his efforts come to his life. No matter if it is sports or studies that cross the path, he is determined to be successful and achieve his aims.
